Breakfast with St. Nicholas

Today at church was the first Breakfast with St. Nicholas event.  First, the fourth graders sang in church.  She's on the far left.
She also sang in the second service with the first and second graders. Since all of the shepherds were fourth graders and sang counterpoint to one of the songs in the medley, she and a couple of other kids were asked to sing again.  This time Kyleigh is in the top row a couple from the left.  The lady in front of the Christmas tree in both pictures is one of our Praise Singers.
The kids all brought pairs of shoes to donate and set one pair out for St. Nicholas to leave treats in during the service.  He also came to visit at the end of the service and invited everyone to breakfast which was cut up donuts and the coffee cart.

There were several craft tables set up. In this first picture, the kids are making Christmas ornaments out of clothes pins, twine, glue and a star.  Kyleigh decided not to make hers into an ornament and glued the star on the back instead of on the twine hanger to hide the knot.

The third craft -- a candy Santa with a St. Nicholas hat.  (I found this picture on the church website.)
