The Angels clinched the American League West Championship last night!! I watched the end of the game which put their magic number at 1 and stayed up to watch the Rangers beat Oakland to make the magic number 0. I wish I'd been at the game, but the TV coverage was pretty good. David said about 1/2 of the fans stayed for the celebration which included the Angels players running around the stadium spraying champagne into the crowd.
It makes it rough to schedule anything in October though. If they retain their current best record in baseball, they will have home field advantage for the whole post season with their first game being at home on October 2nd and I'm going to the game!!
