Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop

It's time again for the Easter Blog Hop hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching  Each blogger will post a letter and a link to go to the next letter.  Once you've hopped your way through the blogs, you should be able to figure out the mystery phrase.

My letter is L and the next blog is Tiff Stitches.

We're also supposed to display some Spring stitching.  This first square is the March Fairy from the Cross Stitcher 2016 Calendar (Lily of the Valley).  It's stitched on lavender 25-count Lugana with the called for DMC.

The second square is the square I stitched using the chart I won in last year's Easter Blog Hop.  This is Sampling Easter by Lizzie Kate.  It's stitched on mint green 25-count Lugana with the called for DMC.
Since the prize was the chart only, I had to come up with my own charm.  After checking Michaels, JoAnn and Hobby Lobby, I found a charm on a necklace at Claire's (a fun jewelry store).  I wasn't able to FFO it before this posting, but I'll do that next month.

Since Jo indicated that she'd like me to pass it on when I finished stitching it, I will be giving it away on this blog.  Please comment on this post if you would like to be entered in the drawing.  I'll draw a name on April 10th.  You don't have to be a follower of my blog, but I'd appreciate it if you become a follower.

Look What Came in the Mail Today

Last month I participated in the Easter Blog Hop hosted by Serendipitous Stitching where you hopped from blog to blog to solve a secret phrase.  I participated both as a letter poster and solver of the secret phrase.  Each poster and each person correctly solving the phrase received an entry in the drawing.  I participated in both and received two entries and I won!

Today I received an envelope with the chart (Lizzie Kate's Sampling Easter), the fabric to stitch it on and a card with a lovely note in it.  On the back of the card, it mentioned that this is Woodbridge Tide Mill, Suffolk not far from where she lives.

Thank you, Jo for the lovely package.  Since this is a traveling chart, I will be passing it on, once I've stitched it.
