Catch up Post - June (#2)

June was a busy and eventful month.  Besides helping with Vacation Bible School and Kyleigh attending Girl Scout Day Camp, there was also Christmas in June at the Angel's game and a visit to the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Spring Festival.  In addition, I spent two nights in the hospital because of a large blood clot in my leg and several smaller ones in my lungs.  I'm now on blood thinners and feeling better. 

At Christmas in June at the Angels Game, they had live reindeer and you could take your picture with Santa.   First we saw the reindeer.

 Then we found Santa and Kyleigh had her picture taken with him.

Then Devin and Bob decided to have their picture taken, too.

Kyleigh also got a hold of a pair of Trout Thunder Sticks and was Caught on Camera dancing and playing with them before the game.  This earned her a t-shirt, a couple of other prizes and $20 in Angel Bucks which she used to treat us all to ice cream.

At the AGSEM Spring Festival, Kyleigh participated in some of the tractor games.  She picked potatoes as they passed under the tractor and did the pedal tractor pull.  Here she is, already to pick.

Finally, she went to Girl Scout Day Camp for a week.  Janice knew the counselors so she received pictures most days.  This first picture is of the group at their campsite.

They made sit-a-pons.  Kyleigh turned hers into a bed for her 18" doll.

 The girls had to pass a swimming test to be able to go in the deep end and use the diving board.  These are the girls that passed.  Kyleigh is in the black and pink suit.
