This piece came from Cross Stitch Crazy #256 and was designed by Lucie Heaton per a request for a cheerleader wearing red and black. It's stitched on 14-count white Aida, but I changed the colors and modified the charting to match Kyleigh's POM uniform. It's not perfect, but it'll have to do.
This is the reason I chose this design for Kyleigh's quilt. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of her without the sleeves, but they are separate.
Finally, this is the last square needed for her quilt. I gave her all of the squares except this one for her birthday so she can start thinking about the layout. I did show her this one and she was very excited to see how I changed it.

That's a great little block for the Quilt.
The perfect block, its great
So adorable, both the stitched piece AND Kyleigh!
Awesome! Love it.
Such a perfect design for Kyleigh, it was almost as if you'd asked Lucie for it yourself!
Handing over all of Kyleigh's quilt squares must have been extraordinary. I wonder if she'll now start finding more designs which you can stitch her for a second, and perhaps more teenager-y, quilt? In the meantime, thank goodness you have charities to stitch for, otherwise you wouldn't know what to do with most of your small pieces! :)
